Eulogia arrives to Chile from Bolivia at her Childhood back in the late 60s. She brought with her traditions as Aymara, as custodians of nature and the environment. Shepherding and farming at the highlands of Chilean north-east plateau. Eulogia is one of the habitants of Cariquima town, is a respected and dear member of the community keeps taking care of the old ones while she maintain a bed and breakfast for adventurers that reach those highlands or temporary workers that look for a friendly environment.

Growing Quinoa and shepherding Llamas over the wetlands is part of the Aymara’s traditions of harmony and at the same time creating an livable environment at the highlands. Eulogia use every single drop of water to grow her own organic food, and is a living withness of the respect for mother earth. As many other aymaras, the calmness of the highlands can be replaced with any city.

She is a loom weaver and holder of the Andean cultural heritage that is extended from the Ecuadorian latitudes to the Argentinean lands
