Max is a freshman at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. He has been studying 3D art and animation on his own for over three years and is now continuing to study at DePaul, while majoring in Visual Effects for Film and Television. He has a passion for using technology to be creative and visualize abstract concepts and bring ideas to life.

Max graduated from Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC in 2021 with an IB Diploma. As well as creating digital art, Max enjoys biking, spending time outside, and reading about the ins and outs of the film industry that he hopes to be a part of very soon. Shown here are some of his digital creations, as well as a short film that he made with a friend during the school year.

This short titled “Nighthawks” is based on the Edward Hopper painting of the same name. Also submitted unfinished, Max and co-creator Travis Turner received a regional student Emmy in the animation category for their submission.
